Mix Elmers Glue All...one part glue with one part water...mix well - Working on plastic. ..Paint muslin or other fabric... then add torn up paper ( old pages, scrapbook paper..ledgers,etc).
Glue both sides of the papers... use paint brush to flatten out bubbles ...
Let dry overnight
Put on a light coat of paint (wash) - it will be a little stiff and you'll be over to sew on it.
Use some white wash on it... let dry... stamp.
