Dye Inks and Alcohol Inks work well with vellum

Since Vellum is nonporous the ink has to dry

Pigment Inks can be used but they need to be embossed

You Carried Me

The bulk of this blog has been compiled while sitting with my critically ill father for months in the hospital, while he was battling to stay alive. I am deeply grateful to the hospital for having wi-fi access and to all the artists who work, tutorials and links appear in my blog.

YOU CARRIED ME through this absolutely horrible, touch- and- go time over the last year, for that and your generous spirit, sharing your art and talent, I have no words to express how much each of you gave to me. It is my hope that others who find themselves in that place as well as others hungry to learn from the "Masters" - can "sit at your feet" so to speak and fill their soul with what each and everyone of you so willing offer and share.

My dad is now in rehab with a long road ahead and I'll continue to add sites and links as I live vicariously through your hands, eyes and hearts.
