Gel Medium

Gel Medium - can be used as an extender mixed with color
Great with translucent... and can be used with color as a glaze


Or straight out of the jar (MM4 from Matise)

Can do scraffido
Economical

Used with a brush it will leave a brush stroke and hold its peak





Liquitex, Golden and Matise are basically the same

Soft Gel - does not retain much shape or texture

Heavy Gel - does retain shape

Glass Bead Gel - dries clear... great for sand and extra texture


Matte Gel Medium - will give you texture or can be used like a glue to adhere papers or fabric.
